About Us
According to InfoPro Research (July 2005 edition), SKB is the oldest company in Lebanon – established in 1800. The oldest document found that pertains to the family business goes back to 1894. In 1988, Societe Kamel Bekdache et Fils was transformed into a corporation with a general assembly. Until 2003, SKB was only a paper trading company. However in 2004, SKB became a converter as well. In 2010, SKB expanded its operations by acquiring a new facility in Jiyeh, introducing new products to the market and updating its machinery to the latest standards.
In 2005, SKB was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for Quality Management System by the International Standards Authority Inc., USA. In 2010, SKB has been re-assessed and awarded the new ISO 9001:2008 requirements by SGS.
SKB has 165 employees committed to serving a total number of 1,130 clients located in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. Since 2004, SKB has attained 7 warehouses with a total area of 23,200 m2 for stocking and converting paper.
